Prince George's Emergency Rental Assistance Program UPDATE
Due to an overwhelming response to the County's Emergency Rental Assistance Program, applications are no longer being accepted. The County will continue to process applications and follow-up with those who have already applied for the program. This program was meant to address immediate needs of our residents while working to find ways to address this issue long term. We will keep our community posted on further updates to the program and our efforts to address this issue as we move forward.

The Prince George's County Food Equity Council is maintaining a list of food assistance resources available across the County, updated regularly. To view this list, please visit: http://pgcfec.org/resources/covid-19-resources.html

District 1 Sewing Project
Thank you to all of our sewing enthusiasts! Please keep it up. We are still in need of face masks and are turning our attention to support the heroes at UM Laurel Medical Center. We will continue collecting at our three drop off locations and deliver them directly to the hospital in bulk.
To help, simply reply to this email or send an email to councildistrict1@co.pg.md.us. Learn more about the District 1 Sewing Project, here.

As always, please contact me at councildistrict1@co.pg.md.us or (301) 952-3887, if I can assist. To receive real time updates, follow us on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram.
