The Whisker Patrol Barn Cat Program, an innovative initiative that provides humane rodent control while allowing unsocialized shelter cats to thrive in safe outdoor environments, is now available in Prince George's County.
Barn cats are independent and not suited for indoor homes, but thrive outdoors in barns, farms, warehouses, and other properties. The Whisker Patrol program places them to control rodents, with property owners providing regular care.
To help support this program, we are also accepting new or gently used items for the cats, including:
- Large & XL dog crates
- Food & water bowls
- Litter pans
- Cat dens
Every item helps barn cats find their perfect home and a fresh start.
Please drop off your donations in our lobby at 3750 Brown Station Road, Upper Marlboro, MD.
