County Executive Aisha Braveboy Stops by Pawchella at the Green Festival

Prince George's County Executive Aisha Braveboy visited the DoE Green Festival on Saturday, October 11, at Driskell Community Park in Hyattsville, making a memorable visit to Pawchella. Her presence brought excitement not only to our dedicated vendors and volunteers but especially to our adorable adoptable pets, who delighted in her company.

The Green Festival, held in partnership with the City of Hyattsville, serves as a vibrant platform to spotlight local vendors, innovative exhibitors, and tantalizing food trucks, all while promoting essential discussions around environmental stewardship and sustainability.

Join us in 2026 and in elevating Prince George's County to be more beautiful and green!

Green Festival Braveboy

Thank You Attendees, Exhibitors, and Sponsors for Your Generous Support of Pawchella!

We deeply appreciate all the volunteers and staff who helped make Pawchella at the Green Festival such a memorable event!

During our Green Festival at David C. Driskell Community Park, eight dogs were adopted on-site — and two more found loving homes shortly after the event. It was a wonderful day filled with music, treats, and plenty of adorable dogs ready to meet their new families.

Our dedicated volunteers proudly showcased the pets by walking them throughout the festival grounds, helping connect them with their forever homes.

Thanks to your generosity and teamwork, 10 dogs are now part of new families. It was truly a fund and rewarding day for everyone involved!
