Lassie (A529282) is a gorgeous two-year-old Siberian Husky mix still learning all the world has to offer. Life in a busy kennel is not her favorite — and who can blame her? She gets a little vocal and excited with all the dogs walking by her door. But once you get her outside, Lassie (A529282) relaxes and shows her softer, quieter side.
Lassie (A529282) is looking for a calm, patient adopter who understands the needs of Huskies and can help her blossom at her own pace. Could that be you?

Pet Parenting Classes
Next Workshop Saturday, June 7, 2025 at 12 p.m.
Learn what it takes to be a responsible pet owner and a great family host to a four-legged friend for its lifetime. Topics such as time, cost, food, toys, medical, safety, social, and more will be covered with Q&A.
Classes will meet the first Saturday of each month at 12 p.m., throughout 2025!
To secure attendance and register for this FREE class, please RSVP to ASDcommunityoutreach@co.pg.md.us.
Be Sure to Microchip Your Pets
Keep your furry friends safe by ensuring they are microchipped. Microchips are small transponders implanted under your pet’s skin between the shoulder blades. They provide an extra form of identification if your pet loses their collar and tag while missing. If your pet ends up at a veterinary clinic or an animal shelter, staff will scan your pet for a microchip and contact the brand the chip is registered under to get your contact information. Pets with microchips are more likely to be returned to their owners!
If your pet goes missing, fill out a LOST report at
If you have found a stay animal, fill out a FOUND report at
Pet Fostering Saves Lives
