Now Recruiting: Spending Affordability Committee 

Dear Prince Georgians: 

We are excited to share that we are actively recruiting individuals to serve on the Spending Affordability Committee (SAC). This important panel plays a key role is making recommendations to the County Executive, County Council, and the Office of Management and Budget regarding spending affordability and ways to improve the County’s budgetary procedures and policies. The ideal volunteer will have accounting and budget experience. 

Our County Government utilizes boards and commissions to advise and make recommendations to elected officials and government leadership on a wide variety of issues that are crucial to the quality of life of Prince Georgians. Community involvement in these boards and commissions is such an important and valued part of County Government. Residents can bring new ideas to the table that represent diverse voices within our community, giving us the input that is needed to help make the most informed decisions possible.
