Tree Trimming and Down Trees
Our Office of Highway Maintenance staff are working extremely hard to remove and perform elevation trimming of trees that are in the County right-of-way. The County trees must be maintained to control their growth and to assure that they don't present a safety hazard to motorists or pedestrians by obstructing sight distances. The Department provides or coordinates this service on a 5-7 year basis, in addition to removing dead trees as necessary. The estimated service resolution for this service can take up to 120 business days. If your community is affected by a down tree or tree limb, please report this matter to PGC311.
