RideSmart
On Sunday, May 21,2023, the RideSmart team of the Office of Transportation set up a table at WMATA’s Better Bus Network Redesign Party at Creative Suitland Arts Center. It was a great turn out and they were able to really spread the word about the great things that RideSmart and the Office of Transportation are doing within the county. The Better Bus Network Redesign is an initiative to rework the bus routes in the Washington Metro area and make it as safe and accessible as possible to commuters.
RideSmart’s goal is to promote alternative transportation, help employers and employees make money from alternative transportation, and overall help to reduce traffic, accidents, and emissions. We look forward to working with WMATA in the future to continue to promote alternative, safer and more efficient travel throughout the County and the Washington Metro region.
