Winter Season Prep
DPW&T crew salt brine the primary roads throughout the County in a previous event
DPW&T's Office of Highway Maintenance (OHM) is prepped and ready to go in the event of inclement weather. Based on the level of snow operation initiated DPW&T crews and contractors are deployed to their designated snow district to begin work. You can follow all snow updates on our snow portal HERE.
PGC Transit Transformation Initiative
DPW&T's Office of Transportation launched its PGC Transit Transformation Initiative earlier this season. This initiative was launched with the goal of getting 1,000 people to take the survey and provide their feedback on our transit services. The survey will gauge how the public feels about utilizing public transportation throughout the County, and how the services can be improved to increase efficiency and timeliness. We encourage everyone to take the survey and offer their opinion, every voice matters. Insight provided by the workers, commuters, and residents of the County is invaluable as we strive to move towards a cleaner and energy efficient Prince George’s County. If you have not had the opportunity to take the survey, you can take the survey before it closes on December 30, 2022.
