The Transportation Association of Maryland (TAM) held their Annual Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, honoring organizations and individuals in the following categories: Friend of Transit; Outstanding Marketing Program; Outstanding Leadership; Unsung Transit Hero; Outstanding Non-Profit Agency; Outstanding Transit System; and Driver of the Year. DPW&T Office of Transportation won awards in the following categories:
· Outstanding Transit System: Prince George’s County TheBus
· Driver of the Year: Jaime Holloway, Prince George’s County TheBus

Maplewood Community Day
DPW&T was pleased to join in on the Maplewood Community Day held on September 10, 2022. The day was filled with fun events, music and cotton candy. Special thanks to the Office of Transportation staff member Gloria Williams for attending and providing giveaways and informational pamphlets to the residents of Maplewood.
