The new traffic signal constructed at Ritchie Marlboro Road and North Riding Road is in full operation. This is an important safety project delivered to the residents of Marlboro Ridge Community. DPW&T will continue to increase awareness about coming to a complete stop at the stop bar. This allows for drivers to be safely detected and for efficient signal operation. Muncy Circle and Muncy Court Improvements
The improvements at Muncy Circle and Muncy Court are excellent examples of traffic transformation with speed reduction and re-orientation of ingress/egress pattern (Muncy Dr/Ct) of existing traffic. The improvements also provide ample opportunities for residential parking spaces. Muncy Circle and Muncy Court is now ready for landscaping.
Check out other roadway safety improvements on the Vision Zero Prince George's Project Map - The Vision Zero Project Map shows road safety improvements implemented by County agencies and the Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA).
