Prince George's County COVID-19 Vaccination Update

Dear Prince Georgians:

  • Yesterday, I announced that our County Health Department has added three new vehicles to its mobile COVID-19 vaccination units, significantly expanding our ability to reach homebound residents and others in the community. The expansion of the mobile vaccination units comes as we begin to administer COVID-19 boosters to immunocompromised residents, along with our continued efforts to vaccinate school-aged children ages 12-18.
  • All Prince George’s County residents 12 and older who receive a COVID-19 vaccine at the Prince George’s Sports & Learning Complex now through September 17 will receive two free tickets to Six Flags America. Tickets will be provided while supplies last or until Friday, September 17, and can be used on any public operating day through Sunday, September 19, 2021. Residents should visit mypgc.us/COVIDVaccine for clinic operating hours or to schedule an appointment at the Prince George’s Sports & Learning Complex. Walk-ins are also accepted.

Yours in service,
Angela Alsobrooks
