CURRENT STATUS for
Thursday, February 18th

Due to weather-related conditions, DoE announces all curbside bulky, regular trash, and recycling collections have been CANCELED for today, Thursday, February 18th. Collections MAY be suspended or canceled Friday, February 19th.


Weather permitting, missed bulky appointments for Thursday will be picked up by Saturday, February 20th. If you had a scheduled appointment, please leave your items at the curb.

Trash Recycle Inclement Canceled 2021 ENG

The County will make every effort to post any information regarding delayed or suspended collections on the County’s website at mypgc.us, or DoE’s website at environment.mypgc.us, or you may contact CountyClick 3-1-1. 

Remember that all collections can occur anytime from 6 AM to 8 PM.

DoE inclement weather policy 1 day missed

If severe weather conditions delay services for one (1) day, those collections will occur after the following days regularly scheduled collections. For example, if weather prevents collection on your regularly scheduled Tuesday, then it will be collected after Wednesday’s regular collections. If a regular Friday collection is suspended, that collection will occur on Saturday.

DoE inclement weather policy 2 day missed

If severe weather conditions delay services for two (2) consecutive days, collection will resume the following week on your regular day. For example, if weather prevents collection for Tuesday AND Wednesday collections, both Tuesday and Wednesday collections will be collected the following week.

DoE inclement weather policy yard trim missed

Missed yard trim collections on Mondays will be picked up the following Monday.

 

Residents scheduled with bulky trash appointments will be contacted and rescheduled within seven (7) days. 


Vaccine bulletin

The County Executive’s first COVID-19 Vaccine Bulletin is now available. These bulletins will provide regular and transparent updates on the County’s vaccine distribution process, including the latest numbers on vaccine supply and the pre-registration list. This first bulletin also includes a recap of the major updates discussed during the County Executive’s recent Tele-Town Hall.
