Earth Optimism Summit: Smithsonian Institution, April 22-25 (Live-streamed)

Congratulations to this Year's Prince George's County Stormwater Stewardship Awardees!

This past February, a total of $979,056 was awarded to 14 different projects through the Prince George’s County Stormwater Stewardship Grant Program. This grant program funds on-the-ground restoration activities that improve neighborhoods, improve water quality, and engage Prince George’s County residents in the restoration and protection of the local rivers and streams of Prince George’s County.

The awarded projects collectively propose to engage 5,000 County residents, treat over 11 acres of impervious surface, and plant over 1,900 trees and 11,000 native plants that will provide shade, clean air, and improve water quality.
