PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY POLICE OFFICER INDICTED FOR ASSAULT AND LEWD BEHAVIOR AT A HYATTSVILLE GYM
UPPER MARLBORO, MD – Detective Sharrod Wiggins has been indicted by a grand jury for indecent exposure, second degree assault and related charges for masturbating in public at LA Fitness Gym in Hyattsville, State’s Attorney Aisha Braveboy announced today.
The incident occurred on April 26, 2019, when Wiggins, who was off-duty at the time, allegedly exposed himself in the men’s restroom of the gym.
Future court dates have not been scheduled yet.
An indictment is not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by indictment is presumed innocent.
