Prince George’s County Announces Holiday Closings for Memorial Day
County government offices, with the exception of public safety agencies, will be closed on Monday, May 27, 2019 in observance of Memorial Day
LARGO, MD – The following offices, services and facilities will be closed or suspended on Monday, May 27, 2019 in observance of Memorial Day. Click here to download a copy of trash and recycling collection schedule.

TheBus, a public transit service operated by the Prince George’s County Department of Public Works and Transportation (DPW&T), will not operate on Monday, May 27, 2019. Regular operations of TheBus will resume on Tuesday, May 28, 2019. In addition, the County’s Call-A-Bus service, including dialysis transportation, will not operate on Monday, May 27, 2019. Regular operations of the Call-A-Bus services will resume on Tuesday, May 28, 2019.
The Prince George’s County Department of Permitting, Inspections, and Enforcement (DPIE) will be closed on Monday, May 27, 2019. Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, May 28, 2019.
Also, Prince George’s CountyClick 3-1-1 will be closed on Monday, May 27, 2019 and will resume regular operations on Tuesday, May 28, 2019; 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. However, residents can still submit service/issue requests online at www.countyclick311.com/.
