Summer Traffic Updates for National Harbor

Greetings,

Due to your close proximity to National Harbor, Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center, Tanger Outlets and MGM National Harbor, we want to make sure you are aware of upcoming summer events expected to have a high volume of traffic. Our goal is to provide updates so that you can plan accordingly and also enjoy the variety of entertainment.

JULY 1st - National Harbor will host a Carnival Beach Party from 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

JULY 1st – 4th - Independence Day weekend is expected to have a high volume of traffic in the area.

JULY 13th – 17th - The Gaylord will host events that are expected to generate traffic.

     AUGUST 19th - National Harbor will host the Crab & Beer Festival.

SEPTEMBER 1st – 4th Labor Day Weekend - National Harbor will host the International Outboard Grand Prix. Traffic that entire weekend is expected to draw more tourists to the area.

SEPTEMBER 17th - National Harbor will host its annual Color Run from 8:00 AM, - 12:00 PM.

SEPTEMBER 23rd - National Harbor will host the Alzheimer’s Walk from 6:30 AM – 1:30 PM and from 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM, WaveOne: Swim for the Potomac will also place.
