TUESDAY TIDBITS
Child Care Credential Program Update
Due to a lack of continued funding, effective June 30, 2024, the Maryland State Department of Education will stop accepting applications. Additionally, bonuses for credentialing or reimbursements for training (or training vouchers) will not be available after this date. We invite you to join us for the next virtual information session scheduled for June 27, 2024, 6:00 PM. (This session replaces the June 25th session.)
During these sessions, we will share updates and discuss how best to strengthen the program in the future. View the FAQs here.
If you cannot attend this session, you can view a recording of a previous session here.
Applications for renewing or upgrading a child care credential will not be accepted after June 30, 2024.
