Attend an Office of Child Care Listening Session. Each month a branch will share news and updates. Submit any questions or comments you have during the registration process. Answers will be provided during the Listening Session or emailed to you directly.

All sessions are 6:00-7:00PM

Seeking Infant/Toddler Teachers and Caregivers to Participate in Online Interviews

WestEd and Johns Hopkins University Center for Technology in Education (JHU CTE) have
been asked by MSDE to create a new assessment of infant/toddler learning and development.

As part of this work, we are conducting teacher interviews to collect feedback that will help us in
developing the new assessment. We are looking for teachers and care providers who are primary
caregivers of typically-developing infant and toddlers in licensed child care settings, especially
those who care for infants and younger toddlers.

Participating teachers will receive a $35 stipend for each interview completed. Please complete
this form to indicate your interest in participating.

Child Care Career and Professional Development Fund

The Child Care Career and Professional Development Fund (CCCPDF) is a tuition assistance program for child care providers to obtain a college education at participating colleges/universities in Maryland. Funding is available for child care providers to earn a college degree in the following areas:

  • Early Childhood Education
  • Child Development
  • Elementary Education
  • Special Education Application

Due Dates:

  • Continuation applications for current participants are due June 30, 2022
  • Transfer applications for students transferring from a participating 2-year college to a participating 4-year university are due June 30, 2022
  • New applications for first time applicants are due March 1, 2023
