MSDE has awarded a grant to the Council for Professional Recognition that will cover the cost of credential fees and books so early childhood educators in Maryland can earn or renew the CDA credential; The fund will cover the cost of initial and renewal online assessment fees and competency standards books for new applicants.

UMBC Leader Program

The Maryland Early Childhood Leadership Program – MECLP is thrilled to announce that the application for Cohort IV will open on April 5th. MECLP is seeking outstanding early childhood professionals interested in participating in its research-based Leading for Change in Early Childhood Education Course – a 12 month, cohort based, 3-credit graduate course designed for early childhood professionals who work in diverse early childhood settings.
