2021 Maryland Family Engagement Summit — Building Back Together: Reimagining Family Engagement

This year’s theme, Building Back Together: Reimagining Family Engagement, will feature keynote, Dr. Daren Graves. Dr. Graves is an Associate Professor of Education and Social Work at Simmons University and Adjunct Lecturer of Education at Harvard Graduate School of Education.

During this one-day virtual event, Dr. Graves will join other national and local experts to share research-based strategies for utilizing an asset-based approach when partnering with parents and families. Experts will also help prepare early childhood educators and providers to meet children’s ongoing academic, and social and emotional needs.

This year’s Summit will be an opportunity to re-establish trust and a deep appreciation for one another while ensuring a welcoming and nurturing learning environment for all children.

Stabilization Grant

Child Care Stabilization Grant

Licensed child care centers and registered family child care providers in Maryland can now apply for the first round of Child Care Stabilization Grants.

Grant Amount: $15,000 base award and $300 per licensed slot.
