NIEER seeks input from everyone working with children under age 5 to inform the design of a future nationwide, state-representative survey of the ECE workforce. This is an opportunity to tell us what you want policymakers to know about the workforce. Your input will influence the scope and content of the survey. Answers are completely anonymous. Please click here for the short 11-question survey to tell us what you want policymakers to know about the early childhood education workforce.
Rapid Assessment of Pandemic Impact on Development
Earn $5 by completing a 10-min online survey! A team of researchers we’re partnering with at the University of Oregon is collecting survey responses to better understand the needs and well-being of child care providers. Your survey answers will not be identified but we will share what you and other providers tell us with policy makers, media outlets, and organizations like Child Care Aware® of America with the goal of learning where relief is needed and how providers are doing. If you care for a child between ages 0-5, take the survey.
Expand Your Career Options
MSDE will provide funding to support child care providers with obtaining their Child Development Associate® (CDA) Credential™ from the Council for Professional Recognition.
By earning their CDA, Maryland's child care professionals will expand their career options and have greater knowledge with which to serve young children across our state.
Apply for funding.
