Maryland Families Engage Unleashed its Superpowers during the 26th Annual MSFCCA Conference in Ocean City, MD October 12-14.

  • On October 11, MSCCA’s 2018 Leadership Mini Conference was held in Clarksville, MD. This year’s focus was “Preparing Our Children for the Future.”
  • Anne Arundel County Public Schools and the Family Partnership Office will host its Family Involvement Conference, including FREE child care, Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018 from 8:15 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Anne Arundel Community College. Register here.
  • The Office of Child Care will host its Advisory Council Meeting Thursday, Nov. 29, 2018 from 10 a.m. until noon at MSDE.
  • The annual income eligibility limits for Maryland’s Child Care Subsidy Program has doubled from $35,702 to $71,525 for a family of four. Read more.

Allegany County Judy Center Partnership Produces Stress Busters Fair

The Stress Busters Fair, a joint partnership among the Allegany College of Maryland Human Service Program, the Allegany County Health Department, Beall and South Penn elementary schools, and the Allegany County Judy Center, was selected for the 2018 National Bernie Ronan Award for student advocacy projects from the Democracy Commitment.  

The Human Service Program students, who organized the fair, received a $1,000 award that they donated to Judy Center programs. Watch the video
