The Montgomery County Grant Opportunities Newsletter provides grant seeking stakeholders with a concrete schedule of new, currently open, and soon to be launched grant programs as well as status updates for closed grant programs. The newsletter also highlights the Office of Grants Management (OGM) events, non-County grant opportunities, and other events/news items of interest to grant seeking stakeholders. FY27 Nonprofit Security Grant Program Released Today! |

Program Summary: The Office of Emergency Management and Homeland Security (OEMHS) is soliciting grant applications for the County’s FY 2027 Nonprofit Security Grant Program from qualified nonprofit located in Montgomery County. The County Council’s FY27 Approved Budget provides $1,200,000 to nonprofit at a high risk of experiencing hate crimes.
Grant funding may support security personnel, planning, training, drills, assessments, security cameras, and integration of camera systems with the Montgomery County Department of Police FususCore device. FY27 Nonprofit Security Grant applicants may request funding up to $15,000 per facility. Organizations with more than one facility in the County must submit a separate application for each facility, with a limit of four (4) applications per organization. The period of performance of these grant awards will be for one year (12 months) upon execution of a grant agreement by Montgomery County.
