This evening, Tuesday, June 30 at 6:30 pm, the Viva White Oak developer will be holding a pre-submission community meeting at the White Oak Community Recreation Center to share information and garner community feedback on three development site plans which will constitute the first phase of development for the Viva White Oak project.
The site plans shared tonight will include details on the retail town center and town home portions of the project. You can read more about Viva White Oak here.
Town Hall Meeting re Pedestrian Safety on US29/Colesville Road
On Tuesday, July 7 at 7 pm, the State Highway Administration will be holding a town hall meeting at Burnt Mills Elementary School to discuss pedestrian safety concerns on US29/Colesville Road in the Four Corners and Burnt Mills neighborhoods. The meeting follows a tragic hit-and-run incident which took the life of a community member at Crestmoor Dr and US29.
Residents can join the meeting in person or on Zoom to provide feedback and hear what pedestrian safety improvements are being considered.
Thank you again for your engagement, and please don’t hesitate to reach out to me and my office anytime at councilmember.mink@montgomerycountymd.gov.
Sincerely,
Kristin Mink
