You are invited to participate in a community consultation meeting hosted by Montgomery County's Department of Housing and Community Affairs (DHCA) to help inform the development of its Five-Year Consolidated Plan. The Consolidated Plan guides the use of funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) by establishing priority needs and setting goals that will help shape how the County uses these funds over the next five years. HUD funding from the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program, the HOME Investment Partnerships program (HOME), and the Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) program is included in the Consolidated Planning goals. Sharing your experience serving the County's needs will help ensure that limited funds are allocated to produce the most meaningful outcomes.
DHCA is kicking off its consultation with three in person community meetings on Tuesday, February 3 at 1401 Rockville Pike, Rockville in Room 1003/1004. Come to the meeting early for light refreshments while they last! In the event of inclement weather, the meetings will be held virtually through Zoom. Registering allows us to alert you about updates.
For those unable to attend the in-person sessions, a general virtual community meeting will be held on Zoom on Wednesday, February 11, from 5:30 to 6:30 pm. After registration, an email with meeting information will be sent to the email address you provide.
A community needs survey will be launched in the coming weeks. Follow along for more opportunities to share your experiences and to spread the word to those you serve.

El Departamento de Vivienda y Asuntos Comunitarios del Condado de Montgomery (DHCA, por sus siglas en inglés) está desarrollando un Plan Consolidado a Cinco Años para orientar sobre el uso de los fondos del Departamento de Vivienda y Desarrollo Urbano de EE.
