The Montgomery County Grant Opportunities Newsletter provides grant seeking stakeholders with a concrete schedule of new, currently open, and soon to be launched grant programs as well as status updates for closed grant programs. The newsletter also highlights the Office of Grants Management (OGM) events, non-County grant opportunities, and other events/news items of interest to grant seeking stakeholders. FY26 Place-Based Management Grants Program: (Launched on January 14, 2026 and closes on March 2, 2026 at 11:59 PM). The Community Engagement Cluster (CEC) and the Office of Grants Management (OGM) are soliciting grant applications under the County’s FY 2026 Place-Based Management Grants Program from qualified organizations providing direct services that support economic growth and revitalization strategies and services across the County’s commercial corridors. This is a competitive grants program that does not guarantee award. A total of $400,000 will be made available to fund awards between $50,000 and $200,000 for up to 12 months. At least $200,000 must be awarded to programs serving the Silver Spring Regional Services Center area.
