Dear Neighbor,

As we welcome the New Year, I want to thank you — for your trust, your engagement, and for the care you show one another that makes Montgomery County such a special place to call home. This past year brought real challenges alongside meaningful progress, but through it all, our community showed its true character: resilience, compassion, and a deep commitment to looking out for our neighbors.

I am profoundly grateful for the opportunity to serve you and to work alongside residents, advocates, and community leaders who believe, as I do, that local government can be a force for good — especially in moments when people need it most.

Looking ahead, my commitment remains unwavering. I will continue working to build a more inclusive, affordable, and thriving Montgomery County — one where every neighbor feels seen, supported and has a  chance to succeed.

Thank you for being part of this community and for the hope you bring into the year ahead. I wish you and your loved ones health, happiness, and renewed optimism in the New Year.
