The Montgomery County Office of Procurement’s Fiscal Year 2025 (FY25) Annual Reports for the Minority, Female, and Disabled-Owned Business Program (MFD), and the Local Small Business Reserve Program (LSBRP) showed a record high $274 million awarded to certified MFD businesses. This represents 21.21% of the total eligible dollars ($1,292,084,215) allocated for MFD participation, marking a 10% increase in dollar amount from last year. For the third consecutive year, the MFD Program has set a record in the total dollar amount awarded to certified vendors. In FY25, the County awarded $133 million in contracts to certified Local Small Business Reserve Program (LSBRP) vendors. The amount represents 33.7% of the eligible dollars for the LSBRP — marking the highest percentage since the program began in 2009. More than one-third of eligible spending went to local small businesses.

The Montgomery County Office of Procurement and Department of Finance launched a new vendor registration system on Monday, Sept. 2, 2024. The Montgomery County Vendor Registration System (CVRS) is the one-stop registration system for anyone who is interested in doing business with or receiving payments from the County.
