County Executive Marc Elrich recaps a busy week of weather events, including a drought watch and the effects of Hurricane Debby.  He highlights another successful series of “National Night Out” events and previews the County Agricultural Fair, which is celebrating its 75th anniversary and runs through Aug. 17.  The beginning of the school year is just weeks away and the County Executive talks about his recent conversation with new Montgomery County Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Thomas Taylor. The County Executive also highlights the start of Tax-Free Maryland Week to help families save money on back-to-school purchases.
