Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich joins County Council President Andrew Friedson, County councilmembers, and Sodexo CEO North American Region Chair Sarosh Mistry as Sodexo unveils its new North American Headquarters in North Bethesda on Wednesday, March 27.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27 at 915 Meeting Street, North Bethesda.
The County and State agreed to a nearly $760,000 conditional loan incentive for the project. The County provided $70,000 from its Economic Development Fund, and the State provided $687,927 from the Maryland Economic Development Assistance Authority and Fund for Sodexo’s commitment to remain in the County and invest $6 million in the new space and retain 275 jobs over the next 10 years.
Sodexo, a global leader in quality-of-life services, offering sustainable food service and valued experiences across various sectors, maintains its presence in Montgomery County as it relocates its North American headquarters from Gaithersburg to North Bethesda. The new North American headquarters in North Bethesda will serve as a hub for more than 300 Maryland employees.
