New Certification Added to MFD Program
Effective October 1, 2021, The Office of Procurement will add the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), “Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business” certification as Disabled. This certification will be added to the Minority, Female and Disabled (MFD) owned business program. View the press release.
Central Vendor Registration System (CVRS)
If your business provides goods, services and/or construction-related services that may be sought by Montgomery County, REGISTER in the CVRS!
LOCAL SMALL BUSINESSES - click on "Your business may be eligible for the Montgomery County Local Small Business Reserve Program (LSBRP) " to see if your business meets our LSBRP requirements. If so, apply to the LSBRP and gain access to the 25% of eligible procurement dollars reserved for LSBRP-certified firms.

Minority, Female and Disabled (MFD) Program
To be considered for participation in the MFD subcontracting program, a firm must be certified by one of the five agencies:
- Capital Region Minority Supplier Development Council
- City of Baltimore
- Federal Small Business Administration
- MD Dept. of Transportation
- Women's Business Enterprise National Council

Wage Requirements Law Update
Effective July 1, 2021, the Wage Requirements Law rate is $15.40 through June 30, 2022.
