More COVID-19 Vaccines Are Now Available County residents over age 65 are eligible for COVID-19 vaccinations provided by County clinics. All vaccinations are by appointment only—there are no walk-ups. To pre-register, go to the County’s vaccine webpage: www.montgomerycountymd.gov/covid19/vaccine.
People with Visual Impairment Can Receive Help Pre-Registering for COVID-19 Vaccines Staff of the Low Vision Learning Center are available to provide assistance between the hours of 11:00 am and 5:00 pm. Monday through Wednesday, and on Fridays. Call 301-951-4444.

Free Tax Assistance Available for Eligible County Residents Appointments for free tax assistance are available for residents earning $57,000 or less through the Community Action Agency's Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. Safe virtual services are available through April 15th with IRS-certified preparers assisting taxpayers through Zoom.

RSVP/ AARP Tax-Aide Program is Another Option RSVP/AARP tax aides serve low-to-moderate income county taxpayers, with special attention to residents over the age of 60. Please call 240-777-2577 for details.
Montgomery County Anticipates Seniors’ Resource Guide 2021 The Beacon Newspaper is about to publish the annual Seniors’ Resource Guide. The Guide is full of information about businesses and programs offering services to older adults. Paper copies of the 2021 edition will be available for free at pharmacies, grocery stores and other locations around Montgomery County and our region.
