Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service's
Maryland Task Force One Urban Search and Rescue Team was deployed on
Wednesday, September 12, by the Federal Emergency Management Agency to
Columbia, South Carolina, in advance of Hurricane Florence.

Montgomery County's Office of Emergency Management and Homeland
Security staff continue to monitor the potential effects of Hurricane
Florence in Maryland and in Montgomery County.
