Leggett, School Officials to Launch BTheOne Campaign Aimed at Suicide and Drug Abuse Prevention

County Executive Isiah Leggett will be joined by Montgomery County Public Schools Associate Superintendent Dr. Jonathan T. Brice; Department of Health and Human Services Behavioral Health and Crisis Services’ Chief Raymond Crowel; Department of Recreation Director Gabe Albornoz; and community nonprofit organizations to launch a public awareness campaign aimed at preventing suicide and drug abuse in adolescents.  The BTheOne campaign includes a new website, advertising at bus shelters and movie theaters, and posters and flyers that will be distributed throughout the community.  Leggett will be joined by Susan Rosenstock, a parent whose teenage son died from suicide, and August Balderson, a 19-year-old Gaithersburg resident currently in recovery from substance abuse.
