Montgomery County
government will observe the following holiday schedule for Dr. Martin Luther
King, Jr. Birthday holiday.
Montgomery County Executive Ike Leggett and the
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemorative Committee will host a community
celebration to honor the late Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. “Injustice anywhere
is a threat to justice everywhere” is the theme for this year’s public
celebration.
Join
thousands of other local residents in honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s
life and teachings by taking part in Montgomery County’s MLK Day of Service
2017, Monday, January 16.
County Executive Isiah Leggett will host the final three budget forums in the upcoming weeks. The purpose of the meetings is to gather resident input on their priorities for the upcoming Fiscal Year 2018 (FY18) budget.
Under the leadership of
County Executive Ike Leggett, 2016 was a successful year for Montgomery
County's Economic Development initiatives.
