Holiday Collection Day "Slide" Reminder for County Recycling and Trash

Montgomery County Division of Solid Waste Services

Monday, January 1, 2018 - New Year's Day - No County-provided collection services will occur on this day. After the holiday, all County-provided recycling and trash collections will slide, and be one day later than normal.

Shady Grove Processing Facility and Transfer Station

• Sunday, December 31, 2017
  • Public drop-off areas close at 3:00 p.m.
• Monday, January 1, 2018
  • Entire facility closed.

Poolesville Beauty Spot

• Saturday, December 30, 2017
• Open 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
• Sunday, December 31, 2017
  • Entire facility closed.
