Maryland Department of Transportation Releases Electrical Vehicle Charging Station Request for Information

Zero Emissions Plan

On September 27, the Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) released a Request for Information (RFI) to solicit feedback and recommendations for a future Request for Proposal (RFP) for the development of electric vehicle charging networks within the state.

Responses are due by 2:00 pm on October 26 and the RFI is available on eMMA, the eMaryland Marketplace Advantage.

The RFI and future RFP will support implementation of the Maryland State Plan for National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Formula Funding Deployment, which was approved by the U.S. Joint Office of Energy and Transportation on September 14, 2022.
