Maryland Department of Transportation Seeks Public Comments

The Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) and the Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) are required to conduct National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) studies for major transportation projects. Currently, MDOT and MDTA are seeking public comments on the following project studies as well as a survey on emerging transportation technologies. Click each project name below for the draft document or survey, and the blog post link at the bottom for additional information. 

Howard Street Tunnel Project (Comments Due by March 30)

Emerging Transportation Technologies Survey (Responses Due by April 5)

Baltimore-Washington Superconductive Maglev Project (Comments Due by May 24)

Bay Crossing Study – Tier I NEPA (Comments Due by May 10)
