Census Takers in Your Community
Census takers are now visiting homes in Maryland to make sure everyone is counted in the 2020 Census. These individuals are locals from your area hired to help you and your community get represented in this year’s Census.
Responding to the 2020 Census is safe, secure, and only takes about 10 minutes. Help shape your community for the next ten years by completing your Census questionnaire before September 30.
All census takers complete a COVID-19 training on social distancing, health, and safety protocols before beginning their work. If you’ve already responded to the 2020 Census, it’s unlikely a census taker will visit.
