Maryland Complete Count Committee to Hold Inaugural Meeting One Year in Advance of the 2020 Decennial Census
April 1 Kicks Off Maryland’s Efforts Towards a Full and Accurate Count
(March 29, 2019) Baltimore, MD – The inaugural meeting of the Maryland Complete Count Committee will be held on April 1, at 11 a.m. at the Miller Senate Building in Annapolis.
Governor Larry Hogan created the Maryland Complete Count Committee on Feb. 15, 2019 by Executive Order. The 10-member committee is charged with developing, recommending and assisting the Maryland Department of Planning with outreach as part of the upcoming 2020 Census.
The executive order directs the development and implementation of a census outreach strategy to encourage Maryland’s diverse population to fully participate in the 2020 federal decennial census.
