MDA KICKS OFF 2023 MANURE EDUCATION CAMPAIGN MDA has launched its 2023 Manure Happens public education campaign to help citizens understand how and why farmers recycle manure as a crop fertilizer. This year's campaign features digital messages that carry the theme, Welcome to Farm Country. Users who tap the message will be redirected to an updated website that tells the story of how farmers use manure.

JUMP START YOUR SPRING PLANTING Our grants help farmers offset costs to inject liquid manure into the soil. This helps prevent nutrient runoff, reduces odors, and preserves beneficial surface residue. We pay up to $45/acre for costs associated with injecting manure. Ask about our grants to transport manure. Contact your local soil conservation district for more information.
