LBPD Tactile Tour: Natural History Society of Maryland

The Feel of Nature

The Friends of the Maryland State Library for the Blind and Print Disabled are thrilled to sponsor a tactile tour of the Natural History Society of Maryland. Known as "America in Miniature," Maryland boasts five distinct physiographic regions, from mountain peaks to coastal shores. On this interactive tour, you'll have the opportunity to explore the fascinating rocks, minerals, fossils, plants, and animals that reveal Maryland's 4.6-billion-year history. Plus, you'll take home a special 8-million-year-old souvenir!

Registration required. Limited to 12 people. Transportation will not be provided.
