"A Park of Water, Islands, and Horizons"
Take a virtual hike with other MD LBPD travelers as we explore several National Parks from the Wilderness Inquiry. You can join the adventure in person or virtually. Coffee and donuts will be served for LBPD participants who attend in person. Each adventure is a one-hour virtual presentation. All in-person events will be held at (LBPD) 415 Park Avenue, Baltimore.
Grab your canoe as our next adventure is to Voyageurs National Park. Voyageurs spans 218,000 acres of lakes, forests, and streams in northern Minnesota. Established in 1975, the park is named after the French-Canadian Voyageurs who once navigated these abundant waters.
Also, learn about the Voyageurs Wolf Project. This University of Minnesota research project started to address one of the biggest knowledge gaps in wolf ecology--what do wolves do during the summer?
