Hyattsville's Household Emergency Relief Program is now accepting applications!

Hyattsville Household Emergency Relief Fund

Applications are open for the City of Hyattsville's Household Emergency Relief Program. You may be eligible for:

• up to $2,500 per individual; plus
• an additional $1,250 per dependent child;
• for a household total of $5,000.

This assistance is exclusively for City of Hyattsville residents* who are suffering financial hardships due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The funds will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

How to apply

There are many ways to apply for the relief funds: fill out the application and apply online; or call (301) 683-8267 to schedule an appointment to apply in-person; or call (301) 683-8267 to apply over the phone between the hours of 3-5 p.m., Monday - Friday. Eligibility Guidelines

Applicants must provide proof of residency in the incorporated City of Hyattsville; regardless of legal status. Verify your address at hyattsville.org/isithyattsville or call (301) 683-8267. Applicants must also provide verifiable proof of economic hardship, including a statement and/or documentation of need. Limit of one application per household. Please provide all information requested in the application. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Small Business and Non-Profit Relief

A reminder that the City's small business and non-profit relief programs are still accepting applications! Eligible small businesses, non-profits, and childcare providers can also receive relief funds from the City of Hyattsville for COVID-19 related economic hardships.
