FAFSA Priority Submission Deadline for Maryland is Three Days Away
Maryland students and families have three days to submit their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form before the March 1 State Priority Deadline.
Completing the FAFSA provides students with the opportunity to access more than $130 million in state financial aid in addition to funding available through the federal government. Even high school seniors who are not planning to attend a 4-year institution should complete the application because financial aid can be used for community college, technical and trade schools, career training programs, and more.
As of February 14, Maryland ranked 13th in the nation for FAFSA submissions with 35.8% of high school seniors having submitted their application. Help Maryland reach the Top 10 by submitting your application today!
Need help? The U.S. Department of Education has created a toolkit to assist students and families with completing the FAFSA.
