Dear Student,
This is a friendly reminder that the 2022-2023 Richard W. Collins III Leadership with Honor Scholarship application is available!
The Richard W. Collins III Leadership with Honor Scholarship program promotes the State’s compelling interests in educating diverse student bodies and in achieving diversity in ROTC programs.
To apply an individual must:
- Submit a 2022-2023 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at https://studentaid.ed.gov/sa/fafsa or submit the 2022-2023 Maryland State Financial Aid Application (MSFAA) online through Maryland College Aid Processing System (MDCAPS) for any applicant who is ineligible to receive federal aid but is eligible for in-state tuition; and
- Complete the Richard W. Collins III Leadership with Honor Scholarship application online through the MDCAPS and submit all required documentation.
Once an application has been submitted through MDCAPS, students may select the "Check Your Application Status" link (within their MDCAPS account) to view the list of documents required for consideration of the Richard W. Collins III Leadership with Honor Scholarship program.
The deadline to submit the Richard W. Collins III Leadership with Honor Scholarship application and all required documentation for primary consideration is April 1st. The final deadline to submit the application and supporting documentation for secondary consideration is July 15th.
Submit all required documents to MHEC by SECURE UPLOAD online through your MDCAPS account. Once logged in, select “Electronic File Upload” from the homepage then follow the prompts.
