2018-2019 2+2 Transfer Scholarship - Application Deadline Approaching!

Dear Student,

You have 3 WEEKS left to submit your 2018-2019 2+2 Transfer Scholarship and all required documentation!

The 2+2 Transfer Scholarship is designed to assist and encourage transfer students from Maryland community colleges to attend a 4-year institution within the State. Students must be enrolled in an eligible accredited Maryland postsecondary institution. 

Why wait to apply? The 2018-2019 2+2 Transfer Scholarship and all additional documentation must be submitted to the Office of Student Financial Assistance no later than  August 31st!

Once you have submitted your 2018-2019 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), you may apply for the 2018-2019 2+2 Transfer Scholarship by creating an account within the Maryland College Aid Processing System (MDCAPS).  To create or log into your existing MDCAPS account (if applicable), please visit https://mdcaps.mhec.state.md.us/MDCAPS/login.aspx.

Once you have created an MDCAPS account, you will see the "Apply" link where you may submit your 2018-2019 2+2 Transfer Scholarship application and view any additional documentation required for consideration of the scholarship. 

Remember:  The 2018-2019 2+2 Transfer Scholarship application and all additional documents required must be submitted to the Office of Student Financial Assistance at the Maryland Higher Education Commission no later than August 31, 2018. Required documentation submitted after this deadline will not be accepted.
