2018-2019 Workforce Shortage Student Assistance Grant Application - Deadline Approaching!

Dear Student,

 

This is a friendly reminder that the deadline for the submission of the 2018-2019 Workforce Shortage Student Assistance Grant (WSSAG) Program application and all supporting documentation is July 2, 2018.

To apply, you will need to create an account within the Maryland College Aid Processing System (MDCAPS).  To create or log into your existing MDCAPS account (if applicable), please visit https://mdcaps.mhec.state.md.us/MDCAPS/login.aspx. Once you log into your MDCAPS account, you will see the "Apply" link where you may submit your application and view any additional documentation required for consideration of the scholarship.  

Remember... students must complete the WSSAG application and submit ALL supporting documentation no later than July 2, 2018.  Documents may not be faxed and must be received by the Office of Student Financial Assistance by July 2nd.  Documents postmarked on July 2nd will not be accepted.  

For more information on the documentation required for consideration of the 2018-2019 WSSAG, please log into your MDCAPS account and select the "To Do" list link to view any remaining documents still required.  

Also, to be considered for WSSAG based on need, students must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the 2018-2019 academic year by visiting www.fafsa.gov.
