2018-2019 FAFSA Available Sunday, October 1st!

Dear Student,

Great News!  The 2018-2019 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) will be available this Sunday, October 1, 2017. 

Many scholarship and grant opportunities available in the state of Maryland require that you submit your 2018-2019 FAFSA by March 1, 2018.  Given this deadline, we encourage you to get a jump start on submitting your FAFSA since it will be available as early as this Sunday!

Also, please note that you will be required to report income information on your 2018-2019 FAFSA based on the 2016 tax year.   

So remember, submitting the FAFSA on time is one of the key steps required to be considered for federal and in many cases, state and private financial aid. 

Visit https://fafsa.ed.gov as early as October 1, 2017 to complete the 2018-2019 FAFSA.  Once your FAFSA has been processed, you may contact the financial aid office at your institution of interest to ensure that all documents are submitted and complete.
