Dear Student,
Greetings from the Maryland Higher Education Commission! This notice is to remind you that if you have been identified as potentially eligible for the 2017-2018 Guaranteed Access (GA) Grant, we strongly encourage that you submit all required documentation for final consideration of the GA grant no later than March 1st.
To know whether you have been identified as a potentially eligible GA recipient, you will need to create an account within the Maryland College Aid Processing System (MDCAPS). Once you log into your MDCAPS account, visit your “To Do List” and/or "Check Application Status" page and submit all required documentation to MHEC. We cannot consider you for the GA award if you do not submit all required documents.
Please note that for priority consideration of the 2017-2018 Guaranteed Access Grant, you must submit all required documentation listed within your MDCAPS account no later than March 1, 2017.
If you have not already done so, please be sure to complete your 2017-2018 FAFSA by March 1st so that you may be considered for the 2017-2018 GA grant and/or other state grants and scholarships including but not limited to the Howard P.
